Summary
The aim of thise article is the analysis of the labour imigration to Poland and an attempt to give the aswer forthe following questions:
– Are there any noticeable changes in volume and structure of the foreign workers in Poland?
– Can foreign workers be an important factor of the balance on the Polish labour market?
The fi rst part of the article presents the institutional conditions of the imigration to Poland. The second part contains the characterization of immigrants in our contry. The last part of the article contains the evaluation of the results of an increased imigration for the Polish economy.
