COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF MULIT-AGENT SIMULATION SOFTWARE
Summary
Multi-agent simulation has gained recently a lot of popularity. The models based on agents are used in many fields of science. However, to depict the reality in precise way is very difficult issue. To simplify the development and implementation of multiagent simulation some specialized tools were created. The article shows the software which focuses on the implementation of already designed model. Three different tools, which belong to the most popular ones nowadays, were compared. Firstly, short introduction into the multi-agent simulation and its tools is described. In the following sections, on the basis of comparative analysis of them, the most appropriate one for an inexperienced user was chosen. The best software was used to create a simple transportation model. The model shows a sector of a highway and all vehicles moving on it.
