SMART HOMES AND SMART GRID AS A SMART CITY INFRASTRUCTURE
Summary
Smart city is connecting the physical, the IT, the social, and the business infrastructures to leverage the collective intelligence of the city. It strives to make itself smarter, i.e. more efficient, sustainable, equitable and livable. The purpose of this paper is to present the state of development of the Smart City infrastructure including smart buildings and smart grids as the fastest deployment drivers because of the widely available solutions for buildings relating to the effi cient and economical use of equipment installed as well as existing legal framework for new energy market.
