MODELLING OF CITY-CREATION PROCESSES TO THE BENEFIT OF AN INTELLIGENT CITY/TOWN
Summary
The paper object is to identify and model city-creation processes, functions and city-creation factors of Polish cities and towns as well as directions of their development in the context of the method and language of economic, social and political modelling. The crucial reference point constitutes the strategy „Poland 2030. Development challenge”. The paper is the continuation of the verifi cation of delusion and utopia of the information society development strategy in Poland from the perspective of urban development. A look at the city/town through macro-economic indicators has not excluded demagogy and signalled an objective perspective.
