WEB 2.0 AND MOBILE MEDIA IN THE STUDENT S’ LEA RNING PROCESS -SURVEY ANALYSIS RESULTS

Summary
The evolution of the World Wide Web, wireless technologies and mobile devices has a significant impact on education. More and more often different educational forecasts indicate rapid process of changes including the rise of e-learning and multimedia in learning and teaching. Nowadays, an integral part of students’ everyday life is the use of mobile devices and applications. Taking under consideration young people’s flexibility in a world of new technology, it seems that they are able to integrate the acquisition of knowledge as their natural activity in the area of digital communication.
The article shall be an attempt to diagnose the present state of use of the latest technological tools by students in the broad sense of learning. Research results that answer the question of what tools of present day Internet, especially Web 2.0 technology students use shall be presented. Authors of the paper interest shall also be students’ activity in the area of mobile education techniques, including the circumstancesand ways of using the potential of these measures in the process of self-education.
