This paper presents the main problems encountered by a member of information society. In order to fulfill the information needs every citizen needs to be provided with information of appropriate quality. One of the most important conditions of a proper functioning in information society is also information and social order. The article contains enumeration of main psychological information barriers that interfere achieving information goals, namely: information overload, lack of information literacy and memory problems.
