W artykule scharakteryzowano dokonane w ostatnich latach zmiany w audytingu, obejmujące wyodrębnienie jednostek zaufania publicznego oraz ustalenie komitetu audytu i komisji nadzoru audytowego. Przedstawiono powołanie przez radę nadzorczą komitetu audytu i jego zadania. Ponadto omówiono problem funkcjonowania i przydatności tego komitetu w globalnej gospodarce.
THE APPOINTMENT, TASKS AND FUNCTIONING OF THE AUDIT COMMITTEE
Summary
The paper characterizes changes in auditing, made in recent years and including the creation of entities of public trust as well as establishing the Audit Committee and the Audit Supervision Committee. It presents the appointment of the Audit Committee by the supervision board as well as its tasks. The paper also describes the issues related to functioning and usefulness of the committee in the global economy.
