Celem publikacji jest zwrócenie uwagi osób zajmujących się podejściem procesowym na jego założenia i instrumenty. Współcześnie teoretycy zarządzania wracają do idei procesów. Wielu praktyków zadaje pytanie, co nowego jest w tym podejściu dzisiaj, czy jest to tylko próba adaptacji starych wzorców do nowych czasów, czy jakościowo nowa koncepcja. Dokonuje analizy stosowanych instrumentów podejścia procesowego, które zostały wymuszone przez wzrastającą siłę konkurencji. Podsumowując ideę podejścia procesowego, wskazuje na porównanie trzech kultur w aspekcie jakości. Kategorią artykułu jest przegląd literatury.

INSTRUMENTS OF THE PROCESS-BASED APPROACH IN THE BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
Summary
The aim of the publication is to pay the attention of people dealing with the process-based approach to its assumptions and instruments. Modernly, theoreticians of the management are coming back to the idea of processes. Many practitioners are asking questions, what new is in this approach today, whether it is only the attempt of the adaptation of oldmodels to new times or a qualitatively new concept as well. They are making analyses of applied instruments of the process-based approach which were forced through the growing power of competition. To sum up, the author indicates the idea of the process-based approach for comparing three cultures in the aspect of the quality. A literature review is a category of the article.
