Streszczenie
W artykule postawiono tezę, stanowiącą, że zahamowanie wzrostu kosztów wytworzenia umożliwiłoby radykalny wzrost wartości przedsiębiorstw górniczych. By ją zweryfikować wybrano i scharakteryzowano metodę pomiaru wartości przedsiębiorstwa. Następnie przy wykorzystaniu koncepcji EVA oszacowano wartość badanego przedsiębiorstwa górniczego w latach 2005-2009 w ujęciu rzeczywistym i potencjalnym – przy utrzymaniu poziomu kosz-tów wydobycia z 2006 roku. Po ocenie roli kosztów wytworzenia w procesie kształtowania wartości przedsiębiorstwa górniczego uszczegółowiono także strukturę tych kosztów w celu wskazania operacyjnych kosztowych determinant wartości przedsiębiorstw górniczych.

CONTRIBUTION OF PRODUCTION COSTS IN CREATING MINING ENTER-PRISES’ VALUE
Summary
The article poses the thesis, which states that the inhibition of production costs in mining enterprises would allow a radical increase in their value. In order to verify it at the beginning the method of measuring the enterprise’s value was selected and characterized. Then, using the concept of EVA, the value of Polish mining enterprise was estimated in the years 2005-2009 in real and potential perspective. Real view included historical production costs and potential view included production costs maintained at the level of 2006. After estimating the role of production costs in creating mining enterprises’ value the structured of those costs was detailed in order to identify operational determinants of mining enterprises’ value.
